Program NEW!    - flyer! -    - poster! - - press release UzL / idw

Systems biology applies dynamical modeling to biological core mechanisms as genetic and metabolic regulation, signal transduction and information processing, and regulatory mechanisms. Understanding biological function in detail, analyzing and re-building circuits on large scale goes hand in hand with understanding their mechanisms, their robustness and how life evolved.
Our research-oriented workshop and autumn school will bring together young scientists with leading researchers in the field.

Invited speakers:

Venue: Lübeck, close to the baltic sea and surrounded by rivers and waterways, is an attractive world heritage city with a small vibrant university at the interface of medicine and computing.
On the first two days (On Monday and Tuesday) the Autumn School will take place directly on campus of Lübeck University. There will be an varied programme comprising tutorials and hands-on workshops.
From Wednesday to Friday an international workshop will be held, and we move to the Media Docks, a modern conference venue in a former store-house of Lübeck's old port, directly situated at the waterfront of the river Trave and within walking distance of the old town.
